Welcome to our website.
I bring you greetings as the newly elected President of Greater Waterbury Area Alumnae Chapter. We are excited to bring more community programs, fundraisers, and events to the Greater Waterbury Area, Litchfield County, Naugatuck Valley, Southington, Bristol, Middlefield, Portland, and Middletown areas. As a chapter, we will continue to increase our community partnerships, educate our youths, and promote social activism throughout our service areas.
We look forward to seeing you at our events this year.

Chapter History
The Greater Waterbury Area Alumnae Chapter (GWAAC) was chartered April 29, 2001. Although several members were active with the New Haven Alumnae Chapter, we wanted to bring Delta's public service programming more effectively to the greater Waterbury area. We also wanted to provide a local chapter where reclaimed members could participate. Twenty-three members from several local towns helped to charter the 945th chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
